James AUdley

James Audley was born in Redwood City, California in 1967. He was raised in Danville and graduated from De La Salle High School in 1985. He earned a B.A. in French Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara graduating with Honors in 1989. Mr. Audley completed one year of academic study in Political Science at the University of Lyon II Lumiere in Lyon, France. In addition, he completed a summer quarter of course work in Economics at Cambridge University's Trinity Hall in England.
James Audley is the Founder and principal Wealth Management Advisor of Argent Wealth Advisors, LLC. From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Audley was an Investment Advisor Representative with Financial Telesis, Inc. While with Financial Telesis, Mr. Audley was responsible for fee-based wealth management in the branch office of Benjamin Wong & Associates. In addition, he was a member of the investment committee responsible for $575 million in assets under advisement. From 2001 to 2010 Mr. Audley was the Managing Director and National Sales Manager for California Investment Trust. In this capacity, he was responsible for institutional sales and all high net-worth client relationships. His responsibilities included investment analysis and selection, strategic asset allocation decisions, portfolio suitability and investment recommendations. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Audley was Vice President of the west-coast Private Client Group for Rochdale Investment Management where he was responsible for setting investment policy for over $200 million in high net-worth client assets. Other duties at Rochdale included strategic asset allocation decisions and investment analysis. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Audley worked with Foothill Securities as a financial advisor focused on providing investment solutions for individuals and small business owners. Mr. Audley began his wealth management career in 1993 with Sentra Securities and David White and Associates where he learned the ropes of the financial services business working with members of the California State Bar.
James is a member of the Financial Planning Association of the East Bay. James lives in the east bay with his wife and two children. He volunteers his time for several non-profit organizations. He loves canoeing and backpacking and is active in the soccer community as a player, coach, referee and fan.
